Got a delivery from Stirling yesterday and had to try the Orange Chill this morning. They say that sense of smell is closely linked to memory. I lathered this into a rich lather and applied it with a nice boar brush and I immediately went to a sunny afternoon riding my motorcycle through the vast fields of orange trees in central Florida. No kidding, the smell is identical. After shaving off the luxurious lather, I rinsed and got a nice menthol cool with the rinse. Overall a great soap that I look forward to using over and over. Stay tuned for a review of their Bay Rum.
I'm in FL, and having used up a sampler of it quite a while back I agree. It did remind me of the orange groves.
I have orange chill in my rotation. It's a good soap and I like it, but I find the scent fairly mild. Maybe it's just my puck, but I would have thought it to be stronger.
Hello @crackstar ! How have you been? You're the one that turned me on to menthol soaps! Thanks! It's been a great ride!
Everything stirling is terrific. My favorite menthol shave soap of theirs is the "margaritas in the artic" and "iced pineapple". They said that the gin and tonic will also be made into a menthol called gin and tonic on the rocks. My only wish is that they would fo the black cherry in a menthol...but until then, i will just add tsd m-bomb @ezlovan when are y'all gonna do a mentholated black cherry??
I have found stirlings soaps to be on point with not only the name's but the scent description....which makes it very easy when trying to choose one....also @ezlovan is a menthol exec. man happening?...Im holding off a order because I feel like that was in the works.
