For the last two weeks I have been trying out some straights thanks to @Drygulch. However, I don't think I am going to make it as a straight razor shaver. So, for the rest of February, I am going to be reverting back to a favorite, my Fatboy.
I'm using my Fatboy exclusively this month. It's my favorite razor but I normally rotate in my Slim since if I have a razor, I like to use it instead of letting it collect dust even if it's no longer my favorite. No solo shot of the Fatboy but here it is next to my Slim: Also @RyX I love the new avatar.
I've been using my Fatboy exclusively for the last two weeks. It's one of my razors that I can always come back to with complete satisfaction. Shaves great with any blade.
Sunday's Dove Men Face Wash Speick Shave Cream Jayaruh #30 silvertip Gillette Fatboy F2 (Fatboy February) Wilkinson Sword Super Sword Stainless T.N. Dickinson's WH Aqua Velva Musk AS The fatboy was an excellent choice following my two weeks with straights. Two passes on 6 gave me a wonderfully close comfortable shave.
Fatboy February and Menthol Monday's Dove Men Face Wash C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream Jayaruh #30 silvertip Gillette Fatboy F2 Wilkinson Sword Super Sword Stainless T.N. Dickinson's WH Aqua Velva Musk AS The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #30 silvertip badger brush. I did two passes the Gillette Fatboy and Wilkinson Sword Super Sword blade, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Don'tcha mean Fat Albert February? and he prefers to call himself "Full Albert" these days. Apparently, there's less of a stigma with that.
Restored E-1 on 9 Feather blade Mitchell's Wool Fat Coconut Aud a/s Great shave on 9. This is the fourth on this blade. Side note. Might be sensitive to the Wool Fat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I shared today's shave with a new straight. It is an H. Boker & Co. 5/8 Extra Hollow Ground. I stropped the snot out of it before using it to complete the first pass. No cuts; that's good. It could use some time on the stones I think. All in all, it was an excellent shave finishing with the Fatboy.
Just checked the tracking on my first Fatboy - still saying it will be delivered on the 8th - we'll see.

I shared Fatboy February with my Old Type today because I was trying out a vintage Twinplex Perfect Edge Blade. It was an exceptional shave.
