Bostonian or New Norfolk or neither

    Which is this? I just got it and it shaves great.

    It looks like a short comb NEW of some type. If Achim's site is comprehensive (and it is certainly more than any other site dedicated to the subject that I have found), then it appears to be more of a Bostonian set than the shorter handle of the Norfolk. The NEW.

    Yeah Matt, that's what I was leaning toward. I was trying to find a reference to the length of the handles on either one, but can't seem to find that. By the the looks of Achim's pictures the Norfolk seems stubbier.

    I have a few Bostonians, and the handles are different than what you have.

    This razor hobby can get pretty confusing at times.

    Yes, it took me a bit to realize there were multiple generations of the Norfolk, Bostonian, etc. Learn something every time I go there.

    In just collected the ones that I liked the looks of. Not the uber rare ones. I did get a few of the less common ones in the process.

    Looks very similiar but I think it's a bit squatier. Not sure.

    Were the cases the main difference with these sets?

    Looks to me that the Bostonian may be a bit longer. Hard to tell.
