You can go to www.gilletteadjustable.com too to see it on the home page with a higher resolution/bigger file.
Only have one(SA-109) for now....but fleamarket season is on the horizon! The website was very informative Glenn, thanks for putting this out!
Impressive! A quick question... I notice that on your page you have the patent diagrams for the bottom-dial and toggle. Would you happen to know the patent # for the Slim? There was an eBay seller who used to have the diagram for the Slim but I haven't seen it in a while.
Ha ha... There must be a new type of adjustable razor out there I haven't seen yet. A Super Adustable that is both long and short (telescoping). Just kidding...
I guess I feel about adjustables the same as I do about fancy car seats with 100 different adjustments. Never satisfied, always messing around with settings. I sold mine off, I didn't think they served me any better than other razors in the den that gave my tiny brain less to think about. Quite impressive collection. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Impressive collection Glenn and great website. I had never heard about the bottom dial fatboy with the dial painted black before. Thanks for sharing.
I thought I was doing quite well with 4 Fatboys and 1 SA-109 in my collection. Looks like I still have 16 variants to find somewhere...
In my experience, I usually don't have to think about it. If I have longer stubble, I use a higher setting. If I can afford to go lower, then I usually do. Lower settings are also perfect for rare occasions when I need a closer shave and I go against the grain in some areas. I don't think that I can go back to a non-adjustable anymore.
