I got a piece of walnut last week, and I took advantage of nice weather on Saturday to make four new handles.

#151 was made as a match for my NEW handle.

    I branded them today.

I dry fitted some knots in the handles for the photo: boar, badger, synthetic.

Thank you. I have some two-band and black Maggard synthetics on the way. I also have some finest badgers, too. I have not committed on the knots yet.

Yeah, me, too. Sometimes it is hard to make these things and let them go.

It is nice to be able to make brushes again. The only problem is, I also need to find homes for them.

    Jim,
I seriously doubt you will have trouble finding homes for your brushes.

I think the hard part is picking one from the many suitors!!

My Maggard knots came in today, and I did some dry fitting.

JR#153 has a little smaller hold. This two-band badger fits.

Great brushes. I am so use to walnut being darker but I must say those are beautiful and you picked great stains for them. I really like 153
