Inspired by @gwsmallwood I checked this etsy vendor out. He has been a pleasure to deal with, making a custom handle for me in pink camo. (I have a major weakness for pink camo stuff). He finished it ahead of his estimated time and the price was modest. It came today and I knotted it with one of Larry's silver tip badgers. Here it is;
Awesome looking brush. Thanks to @gwsmallwood, I, too, have a brush on order with Derek at Wild West. I'll post pictures when I get it.
I got to shave with it today. It lathered up nicely and had great ergonomics. I love the look, but the shape is also a winner!
I still need to set my knot. I need to add 2 quarters to get the loft I like. Since I'm not in a hurry, I figured I'd hold out for some meaningful quarters. I've already got my AZ quarter. Now I'm on the lookout for a birth year.
I can't recall; which knot did you decide to use? BTW, since your post put me onto this vendor, I woud like to thank you @gwsmallwood !
I'm going to post this one in various threads, but saw this one first. I had seen him on Etsy before but nothing ever made my quite hit the buy button. I was trying to be responsible and all. But then I saw this handle and had to have it. I had him add a tuxedo knot. It also arrived today. Pictures don't do it justice. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
