Very! That Omega Pro #10098 is my favorite boar knot. I have one in the original handle, and I recently deconstructed a fresh one & installed it in a B-400 ferrule. Beautiful job fitting it with a wooden handle Jim @Jayaruh! Fuzzy @wchnu is going to have some great Williams lathers.
It's a lot softer than my other boar brush, which is a VDH that came in a mug and soap set. But it served its purpose until I bought a badger and now the jr#175.
I did indeed, I was remiss and posting here sorry about that fellow members of the club. This ones first use was for a video I made with a Shavette, What a nice brush. I will be PIFing a few brushes to make room. The workmanship is outstanding as usual. Wonderful work.
JR #154 W/ Maggards Black Synthetic This bad boy whipped up a mean lather of some home made soap from @americanshamrock My favorite knots are Boar. Love the feel. That being said my JR brushes with with synthetic knots make the best lather. Looking for the next JR that talks to me. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Here is my current Jayaruh lineup of goodies. #174, #178, #179 plus some razor stands and a Cowboys themed shave bowl lid
Nothing like a big ole boar brush. The omega 48 knot is incredable. I am going to PIF my 49...same knot different handle. The handle makes this brush.
Jayaruh #189 made itts way to its new adoptive home today. He towers above his den mate; a Semogue 1305. I've really been jonseing for a long handled brush in order to keep lather from covering the handle when whipping up a lather. I even been dropping hints about a maggards synthetic knot. #189 covered all the bases Really glad that I was in the right place at the right time. Great job, Jim
Woo hoo I'm in the club now too! Do I get VIP passes to special events? Will people be in awe of me as I walk past? Probably not but I do have a fantastic new brush with a very classy handle and plisson knot. The JR 177 has been adopted into a new home and I look forward to using it tonight.
