I went to the advertisement, again. Lots of places to click, but they are a bit vague for the details. Keeps bringing me back to "Order Yours Today!" No site map to break down the maze of click bait. Flashbacks to the Futur Clone Kerfuffle. Looking forward to someones review! Anyone ordered yet?
I will say that no matter how much plumbing I may have worked with in the past, I have never considered brazing my razor.
From a Reddit review/discussion; "Rereading and looking at the gif I now realize that they mean "curves the razor into position for shaving", not adjusts to multiple angles. They're just trying to make it look like it is super featured. So we're talking a sub Weishi with a flat black paint job, and a website that growls and makes you clench your butt like a man. +1 for comedy." otterland1988 Super Speed ROLF!
Well, Gillette called their original SR 'adjustable' because you could back off the handle (even if the blade was much more rigid), so TeleBrands isn't making a new claim. I don't know if it's a sub Weishi or not. I'd have to get one in my hands and compare the head construction to my Weishi and Baili. Considering the $30 with free shipping (US), that I can see, it might be worth giving a shot for 2 razors. I think the 3-6 weeks for delivery is because they'll do orders in batches from China. I do like that the site says straight out that the credit card won't be charged until it's shipped to the end user. Most of the old 'six to eight weeks for delivery' did it that way so that they could 1) get all the orders, then actually get the items manufactured, and 2) they got the use of the money -and its interest- for that month+.
Ahha. Found the reason behind the 'BulbHead' at the top of the page. Apparently TeleBrands is trying to back away from the TV image. http://www.homeworldbusiness.com/telebrands-launches-bulbhead-brand/
It took me a few seconds to get what you were saying. At first I thought you were referring to the Mongoose razor. All I was hinting at was that modern men have become to reliant on safety razors, and have turned scared, or lazy when it comes to using older razors. I can understand if using cartridges if you have medical issues, or issues that prevent you using traditional razors. But, To Each Their Own. I've often thought about having T-shirts printed that say: None of this refers to Women. (Scale of 1-5. 1+++ being the most manly) How Manly Is Your Shave?? Totally Manly Man 1+++. Axes/Flint/Clam Shells/Broken Glass 1. Straight Razors/Shavette 2. Single Edge Razors/Injector Razors 3. Double Edge Razor 4. Cartridge Razor 5. Electric Razor
A really high powered add and the best part is you don't need shaving cream..if you're a hedge hog...
And I will leave you with a line that my first FTO used to use; "There is a fine line between hardass and dumbass".
I also liked the part of the ad with the blowtorch, and I find that feature very important. I generally hit my razors with a torch before using them. Much better than just warming them up with hot water!
