I am going to give him everything he needs. The Feather Weight, a pack of Rite Aid SE blades, a new VDH brush and a home made soap stick.
I have another guy I'm working on if you want to supply another razor there Fuzzy.

    Razor - British ever ready
    Blade - gem ptfe
Soap - stubble trubble praying mintis
    Brush - surrey ? Boar

Tom @twhite stated that this razor may be the same as a demanskeene.. so I decided to take it for a spin. The shave felt smooth and the sharp blade reminded me that it's not the same as a DE razor. After 3 passes my face looked like hell lol but I didn't feel a thing. It reminded me of the old cartoons when a character gets all shot up and casually takes a drink and water is pouring out of all the bullet holes.. lol same here but blood all over. But I'm baby smooth! The aftershave stung quite a bit. I'm going to revisit this again... lol but this time I'm bringing my first aid kit just in case.

My last two shaves for Single Edge Saturday and Sunday. I am liking the injector shaves, but I am missing using my other SE razors, Gem, Everready and such, as I am out of my favorite blades. I need to order some Gem Stainless PTFE blades soon. Have a blessed day gentlemen.
    Saturday.

Sorry about the blood. Sounds like an angle issue coupled with a bit too much pressure.

On the 1912 I find if you put the cap on your face then lift Ever so slightly. That angle works well. Then just wipe the lather away.

Awesome advice tom. I think angle may be my issue. Since I've been using different se razors in between de, I forget the feel of them.

I think your angle was too steep. I never get cut keeping that shallow angle.

Thanks Tom. It a great shave. The old lather catchers are awesome.

I have thinned out the extras. I will see what I have.

Very Strange that razor beat you up. Is the head warped?

Those are great razors. My stick has a twin blade in it right now. Veddy nice shave.

What are you looking to give him? Injector or SE? Mild or more aggressive. Maybe I can help.

With my British made 1912s I shim the blade and put the cap flat on my face. Angle found. Job done. Oh... and NO PRESSURE as always.

Definitely something on the mild side. I don't want to scare anybody away. Maybe another GEM or a common TTO. What do you think? Do you have an extra FW laying around not getting any love?

    Ok
    Here are my 2 suggestions.
    Gem Featherweight or Schick L
Take your pick. I do not have spare injector blades at the moment.

The archives from the original TOS, which can be accessed from the TOST website, are great for research....and now the regular archives at TOST are really extensive aswell...

I love the old site of course, very hip, but I'm glad the new site happened the way it did.....I mean....I'd rather be a "TOSTer" ....than a "TOSser".....jus sayin'......:happy102:'
