I'm surprised that there was no thread about this A/S. Hit the search and all I got was a thread about the shave cream. So I guess I'll start. Aramis was my go to from about 1986 until April 2016. It's Herself's favorite, so if we're going out guess what I'm wearing? When I started my journey in this thing of ours, I branched out with my After Shave choices. The wife was tolerant..as long as when we went out, Aramis was used. I always liked the scent and I use it, just not as often as I used to.
Aramis was the last AS I remember my father using. I have a bottle. Classic scent, unique (truest sense of the word).
I LOVE Aramis. It's a top favorite of mine. I have the eau de toilette and I'm going to buy the aftershave as soon as I get a bit more cash in hand.
After a shave with the Fat this morning splashed on some Aramis. Herself is coming back from Italy this afternoon.
I had the aftershave a couple of years ago and I would use it together with the eau de toilette and the stick deodorant. This fragrance is one of the few which my wife likes on me!
I was looking for some Aramis aftershave yesterday but alas - none to be found. I have plenty of the eau de toilette, though.
Arrrgh...you guys are killing me lol! I know I've used Aramis before...a long time back, and I don't remember the type. But I can't for the life of me remember what it smells like. It'll be frustrating me all day lol. I'm sure I liked it, I'm sure it was a more than a one purchase thing. Arrrgh...somebody splash some on, stand in front of a fan and waft some toward central New York state!
Aramis has a scent that is a bit similar to English Leather, not identical but both are strong Polorizing scents. Aramis is awesome and superior to English Leather IMO. I would recommend finding a sample or going to a place like Macy's so you can see if you like it or not before buying a bottle.
Hopefully, this will help! https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Aramis/Aramis-113.html I'm on my second bottle of Aramis EDT. The classic scent is one of my favorites. A little bit goes a long way, though. One spray, and I'm good for all day.
Aramis will always remind me of my father too. He used the entire Aramis line when I was growing up! I think he stopped using aftershave entirely in his 50s and 60s though. I was never a fan of the scent but the name alone will always make me think of dad.
