    PAL Inject-Matic de Luxe
    Schick Proline [ 1 ]
    Alum Rub/Rinse off
    Puig Quorum A/S Lotion

After 3 Days with my new Schick O Clone, I returned to my favourite modern Injector [G upwards] with a view to determining which was better. I found the PAL to be more aggressive and perhaps not as smooth, but nowhere was it uncomfortable. The Finish quality from each Razor was similar, but due to their differing lengths the feel in the hand was different whilst shaving , but I enjoy shaving with both of them. Shaving with the O clone seems effortless whereas the PAL requires a bit more concentration. At the moment I will not declare either of them as a favourite.

    Razor: Valet VC2, Autostrop

This was my shave for both Friday and Saturday. I love me some Arko. I am now 14 shaves on this blade and it still is giving a smooth shave. Not the closest shave but a DFS all the same. Finished up with some Avon Windjammer AS. I stropped the blade fifteen times before and another ten times after each shave.

    Schick N1
    Schick Proline [ 1 ]
    Alum Rub/Rinse off
    Tuff Green A/S Lotion

My first use of the N1, now this really is a "Blade on a Stick" !. Using it with a Proline to see how it compares with the O clone and Injecto-Matic. With a nice lather I found it to be good to use, as despite the long handle it was easy to manoeuvre . It can be held at the end for long sweeping strokes or near the head for short precision strokes, I found it to be more aggressive than the O clone, but the Shave was very comfortable and the finish quality very good, up there with the O & Injecto-Matic.

Am beginning to think that with the quality of Shaves I am getting with Injectors and the Proline blade, that maybe I did not need to acquire some of my modern AC/SE Razors. But then I would not be able to appreciate the experiences of fellow Shavers who use them.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Musgo Real Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #220 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher with an Original Gem Cutlery SE and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thank you, Doug. I am still using the first vintage blade (14) that @twhite honed for me. I just strop it before and after the shave. It works great.
