In this day, with so many young men that think they look "cool or manly" with a constant four days growth. I could follow in their insecure footsteps, but I choose to be clean shaven to look professional, please my wife and most importantly as a treat to myself. Yes, I consider wet shaving a treat because I find it relaxing and satisfying. Any man can look like a bum, but it takes grooming to look like a gentleman.
Full face shaved for a sales position for five years because that was company policy. I've kept a 'shache since that time, and I've been bearded. After getting past the itchy phase I kept it trimmed to avoid that grizzly bear vibe. In the last ten years my facial hair skipped gray and went straight to white around my chin but stayed darker elsewhere. Now I shave for my own pleasure, though I could do a beard. For the first time I'm working on growing & training a handle bar 'stache. This is MY mustache. There are many like it, but this one is mine...
I really want to grow one, but I just cannot get past the “porn stach” “pedophile” comments. BTW you and Steve have awesome handles
anybody who shaves strictly with a straight ought to be able to handle a few comments from the peanut gallery ... just sayin'
For me shaving is like having an itch that needs to be scratched...every morning without exception. Plus, now that I have all this hardware and software I feel I should use a little bit of it every day.
When I grew up, people were expected to either shave regularly or to grow a well-groomed beard. That has stuck, and I don't want a beard. -- Pitralon forever - Real pens have a nib - If it doesn't tick, it's not a watch.
