I think my reaction to Barbasol Arctic Chill matches one of the "Cons" in the report-that some people might not care for a menthol shave cream. I mean, suppose I follow it up with Aqua Velva-I might end up saying "Well, what's the difference". (For all I recall, perhaps that's exactly what I did). With Gillette Foamy Original(since they listed that), I'd think ANY A.S. goes.
I'm gonna run right out for some of that Barbasol Arctic Chill just as soon as I use up my other stuff.
I know you are a Barbasol fan. Also the Barbasol thread is to your credit if I am not mistaken. Imagine that, a wet shaving forum with a canned goo thread. Truthfully, I have it here and used it. I do think it works better for me if thinned with water a little. Of course, the purists will be coming along saying that I molested the Barbasol. Be well.
My sincere hope is that folks will be come here and learn those solid foundational principles as I have. My hat is off to those who contributed.
Interesting - http://www.businessinsider.com/best-safety-razor - apparently the writer is anti-TTO, and doesn't appear to be familiar with a lot of other brands. I'd put the Weishi or some of the Baili up against those picks
I will try Williams one of these days. It is no secret I love Stirling. I use the dirt cheap Derby stick somebody gave me. It only lags behind on smell. Fresh like Ivory, but no sizzle.
Scent does nothing for the quality of the shave you know? When you get ready to try Williams let me know. I will hook you up with a cake of it.
