I believe I have seen your SOTD where you do use canned shave cream/foam.
And..... As my new Custom Title indicates I have used it 'soused out' a little.
Truth is, I think it gets a bad rap. But also as my CT indicates.... I do go for all the 'glorious stanks' of the Stirling.

Sousing could be defined as adding water!
So... Even if that is your coffee that you dip your brush in... It is still Sousing!

 

Nope. Look the defination up. It has to be a lot wetter then a damp brush to be soused.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong - I've taken the definition of blooming/sousing to be;

applying water to a soap puck and allowing an unspecified period of time to elapse so as to soften the surface and facilitate loading

This isn't to be confused with molesting a soap. That is a broader category of actions. It isn't limited to, but might include - Adding AS to an unscented or scent faded vintage soap, mixing two or more different soaps with the combined lather being better than the separate components, or doing stuff to canned shaving cream like adding water or attempting to reduce the volume by knocking out the propellant through use of a bowl and brush.

Adding scent is generally not molesting. You are however a blooming soap molester.... But a likeable feller none the lessm

 

Make no mistake..... Adding water to soap to make it wet for a lather has nothing to do with opening a sandwich to see what is inside only to have the lunch meat LOOKING BACK at you!

Actually, let me tell you how it went down-I'd been soap blooming for quite a while, thinking "There should be an HONOR for this thing!". Then I noticed the title of S,.B.O.A. and realized "Hey, there it is I'm good for a certificate". Primo bestowed the thing on me.
