What item would you choose?

If, from now on, when you shaved, you only were allowed to choose 1 item, what would that be? So whatever item you choose (shaving cream/soap/razor/blade/brush/alum) you can stick with, but all other items would be chosen randomly. Is it your Parker brush, Feather blades, Poraso cream, or what could you not live without?

 

I hate these....but they are interesting at the same time. I get an on the spot evaluation of the gear I have, every time the "deserted island" type thread pops up.

I'd have to go with the Muhle 2011 R-41. The rest, as long as it is quality, I can make do with.

Lol, I've never even used that, and I think I would choose that too. Even if just to look at.

 

I haven't used a wide assortment of stuff, but I really love the way proraso feels on my face. Although, if I was hacking at it with a junky razor/blade I may wish I had chosen differently.

So far we have 5 with their razor, and 2 with lube method. Suprised no blade/brush votes yet.

 

Just glad I don't have to.

 

I'm going to have to go with my hand. I could switch out the razor, brush, cream/soap, blade, and aftershave, but I wouldn't want to have to shave with any another appendage. My hands and I go way back.

 

Lmao, I would even go so far as to say my right hand. I can shave some with my left hand, but don't think I could shave entirely with it.

 

Martin de Candre! Anything else can be switched. But this will always be a solid performer!

 

It would have to be my Fatboy, I even get decent shaes with Merkur blades in it.
