These are currently the razors on my wishlist: 1. Slim adjustable 2. Muhle R41 3. EJ89 4. Slant of some sort 5. ??????? TO BE DECIDED ???????
I have found all my razors in the wild with the exception of the of my 1947 Super Speed that I found on E-Bay. I like picking them up and giving them a good inspection. Also, sometimes you can get some background on the razor. I also believe you can get some good deals. My Gillette Slim was only $1.00 and my two Schick Injectors were $3.00 each. But I have to say I like looking and buying other stuff, like Fire King Jadite tableware. I am sure that I am a minority in this regard. Dave

Oh, man... this could be dangerous... All I want are vintage, but after reading what Kevin said about the Muhle R41, I might want to try the 2011 model. So is our only option to find one for sale on the Bay? I doubt the manufacturer maintains two models... or do they?
B/S/T's on shaving forums may be even better - or ebay, etc - as no, I don't think they maintain both versions in stock. Did btw, the R41, 2011 come in both 'regular' and 'grande' versions?
Like theFat98, I enjoy the hunt. Slim Red Tip SS Short Comb NEW Aristocrat 1912 SE with a brass handle(I have one with the stubby little bakelite handle. ) More straights I would not turn down another FH Tech.
Mühle discontinued the 2011 model. They can be had on occasion, used, but the asking prices have more than doubled. Originally, they had both standard and grande versions (same head, different handles).
