Jayaruh #83

This is my newest brush: the Jayaruh #83. I made it from purple heart wood. The top picture is with a Sunrise 22mm synthetic knot. It is just dry set now. I will silicone it in tomorrow. This knot is going to be a temporary knot I think. I have a black synthetic knot on order. I am thinking of putting it in this handle.

What do you think of the sunrise knot? I have 2 on order.

The Sunrise knot is a fine knot. I don't think you will be disappointed.

 

That's good because I've been trying to find a synthetic knot I like as well as a couple of brushes I have with syn knots. I tried the Maggards 22 and it is nothing like the brush, completely different.

 

The brush looks outstanding! Good job. I've got one knot, and a half dozen handles. Time for a decision. Your starting to make me want to put a few together. Enabler.

 

Usually not a fan of purple heart wood, but that brush could make me become one. That's a beaut!

 

The Jayaruh #83 is officially complete. I set the Sunrise 22mm knot in the handle today using silicone. I think it is a good match. I can switch it out in the future if I so desire, but for now, I like this.
