A fantastic shave this morning. Loaded the Wolfman with a new Feather and went with a traditional 3 pass shave. I could certainly feel the blade more with the increased blade gap. Overall a super close shave with no nicks, weepers or irritation. Really can't ask for better than that on a Tuesday morning.

 

I think I didn't say that I had problems? I just find Gillette's implementation in e.g. the NEW razors very efficient.

A great shave this morning. Since this Wolfman OC has an increased blade gap, there is more blade feel on the face. Coupled with the lighter weight, it will take a few more shaves to master. However, it's proven to be a very efficient razor. Going with a 2 pass shave, XTG & ATG, followed by minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. The shave comes close to the ones I achieve with the Cobra Classic or AlumiGoose V1.

Third shave in and I am starting to get this one dialed in. Changed things up and went with a traditional 3 pass shave followed by minimal touch ups and almost caught the baby.

What a fantastic shave! The combination of the vintage Gillette Blue Blade and the Smooth Ball Old Type really gave impressive results. I rate this shave as a full scale BBS! Have a great day!

A fantastic shave this morning. Sticking with the same 3 pass pattern as yesterday, WTG, ATG & XTG ended in a near BBS. Since it is Saturday and I have the time, I chased the baby with a few touch ups and caught a BBS. The shave was smooth with no nicks, weepers or irritation.

 

Decided to use the Gillette New Long Comb head today along with a Voskhod blade. It was more aggressive than the short comb but still provided me with a BBS shave, with a little more irritation. But nothing that couldn't be handled and taken care of with cold witch hazel. I also put in a dab of Proraso Green after I lathered up my orange soap for a bit of cooling effect. All in all, a nice shave.............

 

The razor today was one of the best OC razors made IMO. The Gillette New LC from my "red and black " set. Perfectly balanced and very efficient without being overly aggressive. If you've used one you know what I mean. Great razor!
