Went with the family to see The Secret Life of Pets. It was okay. Like most movies the funniest parts were in the previews and commercials. Kevin Hart's character was pretty entertaining. My girls loved it so that's all that matters. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Becky and I went to see Star Trek Beyond this afternoon. Saw it in 3D while relaxing in the theater's recliners. She's a big fan, not quite "Trekkie" level, but a fan nonetheless. Me, not so much, but I did enjoy it.
Someone is giving us a great deal on a 60" flat screen (never had even a small one before), should be getting it Monday upon our move to the new house. The first movie I'm going to watch?
I just finished watching that about 10 minutes ago. Hope you got a good speaker set-up (mine's a vintage Sony STR-K740P). Great flick!
Would be nice, especially for the "approaching train" sequence, but I have no sound system whatsoever.
The Conversation Decent mystery/thriller. Gene Hackman was really good and a young Harrison Ford as a bad guy was interesting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I saw "My Big Fat Greek Wedding2" this week. Not quite as good as the original. but still sweet & funny.
Finally got around to watching Bridge of Spies. Good flick! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Tab using Tapatalk
Well the new/old 60" TV seems to work fine, so the inaugural movie... Impressive sound out of this thing, too! (this pic taken before I figured out how to adjust the screen...no remote...)
The Infiltrator with Bryan Cranston playing the other side of the law from the part he played as Mr. White. Good movie. Definitely a 'guy' flick.
Currently watching the original The Magnificent Seven 1960 (fan of Yul Brynner and many in the cast). Prepping for the latest remake
"Did you know" trivia time! You are watching a remake. The Magnificent Seven is a remake of the 1954 Japanese classic The Seven Samurai by director Akira Kurosawa.
