    Some time ago I purchased a Genco Gold Seal SR in an antique store and I honed it yesterday. And this morning I put it to the shave test and I was very pleased. A nice keen edge and a smooth shave. Two passes and all is well.:chores016:

    Pre: Proraso green preshave cream
    Razor: Genco Gold Seal
    Brush: Simpsons Special
    Soap: B&M Unscented
    Post: Witch Hazel / Proraso Green ASB

    Nice shave this morning. Very nice edge on the vintage Grelot, very smooth and close shave. I regret not buying one when T.I. picked up the last of the surviving Grelot blanks. Have a good one.

    I Had a Lovely Slow One Pass WTG Shave Today with My Herder 6/8th..Another Stainless Steel SR this One & I am Getting to Grips with the Characteristics of these Kinda Blades..I am Finding that the Cutting Edge is Very Subtle..This Razor has an Edge like a Laser & Once Dialled in Offers an Awesome Shave...A Nice One Pass Close DFS..:)
