I'm sure it's been mentioned a bunch, but yesterday I received my tub of Lemomelon from shavingshoponline.com, and holy smokes is it great. Both the scent and performance are wonderful. My only regret is that I didn't order the matching aftershave. Not sure what I was thinking.
I just ordered Mama Bear's "Bounty", which is her take on the Citrusy summer fragrance "Royal Water" from Creed. I want to find a mint basil after shave to increase that end of the scent. So, if anyone knows of a mint basil aftershave, let me know please.
You'll see in Kt's May news thread that the soaps are now available from retroshaveshop.com. Have a look and see what name she chose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I used to have that as an A.S........it didn,;t appeal to me, but only because I WAS too young to appreciate it.
I'm not a seasonal shaver. I take the next in rotation or repeat yesterday's shave. I use menthol all year long and enjoy it when it comes up for daily shave.
Hi Kathleen, I hope you are staying cool. I have a few scents I would absolutely love to see. 1. Rose/Lemon 2. Strawberrylemonade 3. Lily of the Valley or Gardenias 4. A Barbershop type scent with a hint of rose 5. Lavender/Orangeblossom 6. My highest hopes---the scent of Barbosal yellow foam can. This stuff smells exactly like the lather from the hot lather machine at my barbershop. (Joe's Barbershop in Mesa )
My summer favs are... Gingers Garden Luna (Grapefruit with ozone and musk) Viking Soaps and Cosmetics Citron (Reminds me of lemon cooler cookies with a light menthol hit) PAA Dirt (Being in Arkansas fresh cut hay and freshly tilled earth are defacto spring and summer aromas wafting on the breeze)
Our neighbors just put a second cut of hay up last week (we're just outside of Booneville, AR) and it must've had some ragweed or something mixed in the field because it made us all miserable with allergies for days. I normally love the smell of fresh cut hay though. Reminds me of summers spent on a tractor raking hay for my dad.
I'm hoping to to put them out on Labor Day, but it's going to depend on when the labels get here for them. Almost everything is done for the first batches, just waiting on labels.
I'm dying to try a pure rose scented soap with menthol added. I know a couple artisans make one. Also I love floral fougeres for spring and summer. Soap Commander Renewal is great smelling. Spicy florals are nice. Think Rhapsody. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
