    Brush- AOS Fine Badger
    Razor- PAL Adjustable / Ever-Ready 1914
    Blade- Chinese Schick/ GEM
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Post Care- Crystal Alum
    Thayers Witch Hazel
    Bombed Aqua Velva

First day of head to head injector vs single edge razors. The winner of the injector shave off was my PAL adjustable and the SE winner was my Ever-Ready 1914. I decided to use my Stirling Ozark Mountain today and the AOS brush whipped up a wonderful lather. I think the scent of this soap is fantastic. I used the Ever-Ready on my right side and the PAL on the left. First pass the Ever-Ready is loud, you can hear every hair being cut. Not only is it loud it's smooth. The PAL is not as loud and I think it isn't quite as smooth however it's very close. After three passes I was dolphin smooth and the alum was silent on both sides. It's been 12 hours since I've shaved and the Ever-Ready narrowly beat out the PAL, I'm smoother on my right side. I'll switch sides for the next shave. Have a great day folks!

The blade is similar, although the spine is not as thick as a Rolls blade (but still too thick to fit in any standard stropping handle) and the blade has a big setscrew right in the middle.

The primary difference is that the Darwin is a real safety razor. The setscrew can be backed out reducing the blade gap and making the Darwin as mild as Gem Contour. Conversely, it can be cranked up until the safety bar is pretty much out of the picture and it functions like a Rolls.

Wonderful shave this morning with the Schick N1 loaded with a twin blade. Excellent face freezing lather from the Stirling Glacial MITA shave soap. Three chilli passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day guys. :D

Nice, easy shave this morning with Maggard's Orange Menthol. Nice scent and good menthol touch. Two days of growth was mowed down with ease by the G1 injector. Nice shave overall.

    Have a great day!

    Henckels Rapide
    Gem Stainless (4)
    Satin Tip the Purest
    Blades Grim Smolder
Tangerine AS & Nivea Sensitive ASB

This morning I attempted to shave with the Henckels blade that I honed, two strokes was enough to tell me that it wasn't sharp enough. So I swapped it with the Gem stainless that I had been using and proceeded to complete a very nice 3 pass shave. After I applied the Nivea I realized that it was better then a nice shave it was BBS through and through. I think I'm going to have to break down and send one of these Henckels blades to Glenn @gssixgun to get honed up to give me some better perspective on what I'm actually trying to achieve. Have a great day my friends!
