Peaceful, Easy Shaving
The Bronze Shadow made excellent lather from QCV today - a top notch soap. The Futur easily decimated my stubble in two drama free passes. I used the QCV splash for skin care, and Spice Grenade for scent and a bit of menthol.

Nice, easy shave this morning with Maggard's Orange Menthol. Nice scent and good menthol touch. Two days of growth was mowed down with ease by the G1 injector. Nice shave overall.

Stirling Ozark Mountain today. 20 seconds to load the Scharf/WD Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Gentleman w/Menthol aftershave.

The most delightful shave I've had in exactly a week - there's no way it could have been more enjoyable. The Glacial Wintergreen soap delivered its beautiful, invigorating scent, its awesome lather, and its famous freeze which can knock a polar bear for a loop. The matching balm and witch hazel added to that freeze with wonderful post-shave care and the Arctique aftershave had my eyes tearing and nose running for a good half hour. A new Astra in my 1950's Super Speed cleaned me up mega-BBS in two easy, slow passes!

This morning I attempted to shave with the Henckels blade that I honed, two strokes was enough to tell me that it wasn't sharp enough. So I swapped it with the Gem stainless that I had been using and proceeded to complete a very nice 3 pass shave. After I applied the Nivea I realized that it was better then a nice shave it was BBS through and through. I think I'm going to have to break down and send one of these Henckels blades to Glenn @gssixgun to get honed up to give me some better perspective on what I'm actually trying to achieve.
