Picked up a straight again, shaveready from Jamie M. Managed to go a full pass with no weepers and no irritation, though the shave itself could hardly be called smooth. (Finished up with a OneBlade.) All in all a very good start. Indicative of something, or to be put in the same box as the never-scored-higher-than-the-first-time-I-bowled? Time will tell.

Had a nice 2 pass shave this morning. Decided to summon Leviathan from the Mariana trench, what a nice scent this soap has! Coffee and Sandalwood to my nose, wish I could pick up some stronger leather notes but awesome nonetheless. Took some work to get the lather right since I bowl lathered. Ended up chasing the baby a bit, which luckily didn't burn in the process. Got a smooth BBS shave and am happy with the results. Finished off with a bit of SS F&M since it is starting to look like fall outside, a nice earthy woodsy scent is just what the doctor ordered. Hope everyone has a great shave!

Another close comfortable shave today with these tools. Fine Platinum is one of my top three aftershaves.

This is the same setup as yesterday. No picture. The soap is a sample.

Another very good shave. Second shave on this blade. Performance degradation is apparent. I do like the Russian Gillettes. The soap lathered up very well. Nice rich lather in no time. As usual, I love the brush. This razor is a favourite. The TSD Witch Hazel is something I don't like to skip. I have become spoiled with it. Have a great shave everyone.

 

Did you buy the TSD aftershave after the announcement that the shop would be closing, or prior to? Just wondering.
