Jayaruh 76 Arrives in his new home, all the way from North Carolina to Seattle! This new fellow joined the den this week. He is handsome, tall, and one-of-a-kind! Let's see him as he meets his new companions. Here is black fiber crowd. On the left are the Germans: VIVO, hjm, and Napa (he immigrated to California before coming up to Seattle). On the right are the vintage Americans: Rubberset and EverReady, both sporting spiffy Amack tops. JR towers over these guys! Next, JR 76 meets the HIS gang. On the left: Doug Korn, Oscar11, Oscar11, Beauty Strokes, and on the right Jerusalem Olive, and EverReady. Now we get to the guys with hair similar to JR: the Plissons. On the left, the French synthetic that changed everything, the genuine Plisson. Then we have a tall fellow from Oregon, MerShaving wearing an Amack top. On the right, an American classic EverReady and a Semogue from Portugal, both wearing Amack tops (the Semogue originally had a boar). Now that JR has gotten to know everybody, he is comfortable and is part of the synthetic rotation!
I never thought I would get the chance to own a brush from @Jayaruh but Jayaruh 69 was donated to the TSD raffle and I was luck enough to win this brush. Here is Jayaruh check out her new home town and then in her first shave.
Very Nice. Who would have guessed that something hand-made in North Carolina would make such a long trip to Korea.
The only thing locally made is CJB shavette. But yes it is very cool to have hand made brush from NC by a 'Den brother' in my possession.
I am glad it made it. The tracking number never did anything for me. It looks happy in its new home. Enjoy.
