Well... So I spent $1.18 more without having to spend $40 more for free shipping. The reviews are almost 50/50(decent/crap). I'll hone it and see for myself and if nothing else, I have a nice new set of scales for $10....And it's not like I spent $40 on this cheap Chinese made razor.

I have searched in the store for cost but also have my limits to what I'm willing to risk on an item, and $10 is that limit.

I do apologize for sounding snide or snarky. Please forgive me.
You're right - sometimes you just gotta risk it.

It's OK.. I didn't necessarily mean to snap back either.

As long as people know their limits and has a general knowledge of what they're looking at in the store or online is what matters.

I know some people's limits are way higher than mine on here, and I'm glad, otherwise we would never get to see some of the cool vintage hauls that people find in the wild.

My Hoffritz Wee Scott arrived today. The brush along with the case are in pretty awesome condition and will be the center piece of my modest butterscotch brush collection.

    Great Hauls Y'all!

Up tonight for me are two, 5.5lb blocks of Belton Farms Red Fox cheese. Unbelievable stuff. It is so popular, it has all but disappeared from the shelves! A must try for any Cheddar lover, it has a delightful crunch!

    IMG_20170117_172450_01-800x450.jpg

Next up is a tub of Cella and Cella A/S which, smells nothing like the soap. To my nose, the A/S reminds me of... Eternity for Men???

    IMG_20170117_174607-800x594.jpg

I need to put the Cella in another container, the stock tub is too small for my liking.

The cheese; get in my belly!

That's okay... I had to read it a couple of times to make sure he was talking about food and not some cheddar-scented artisanal shaving soap.

A PAL Injecto-Matic that I won in a PIF from Roger @Hodge . This thing is so beautiful and great shape. Thank you so much Roger, it's on deck for tonight's shave

And a Schick B1 from a trade with Jorge @Jorvaljr . It's a lot more stout then I though.hola have to learn how to load a blade in it.

    OK, so I'm a weak-willed wiener and I blew my NB'17...

But I had to get this. Someone had opened it, and I had to tweak the spring to tighten the head. And it came with the box. Tried it out a while ago, and it gave a nice, mild shave. Ain't it purdy?

Nice! That's a great razor! The color of the handle really makes it stand out.

    Go for NB18!

Yalppa! There are (lactic?) crystals left in the cheese after it forms. Not crunchy like grapenuts though, more... hrmm... salt on chicken skin???

Low alcohol, not much burn... a citrus scent, maybe? The closest I can come to describing the scent is that it reminds me of Eternity for Men.

Hmmmm... thinkin' it might take some gettin' used to after eatin' smooth cheddar. I'd try it.
