Because of some stomach problems, I am taking a couple of days off from the straights. I will use the English Rocket instead.

The Jeeves of Hudson Street Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #128 synthetic brush. I did two passes my English Gold Rocket and Personna Super (45). I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. No cuts. Woo-hoo! After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thanks Doug-I really need to get used to the Slim, which may mean, for the time being, splitting passes(Slim&Sensor Deuce). I am most impressed by the Stirling soap.

Thanx Charlie, y'know, back in the days of my "shave youth" the DE I used(I forget the name of it now)seemed to go pretty routinely for me. Presumably this one too, now that I have some silver hair lol.

The freeze from the Glacial Wintergreen trio is absolutely off the charts - the soap is one of the best latherers I've ever seen and not only that, it smells so nice. If you like the scent of wintergreen this soap will be your ticket. Like every Stirling soap I have, this one is so gentle and soothing so sensitive skin is in for a real treat. The matching balm and witch hazel are just as frigid and have the same wonderful skincare. The new Derby in my Super Speed helped me get an awesome shave! :happy088: :happy088:

Sorry for not showing any photos - this setup is great. The Dettol Cool cream from India comes in a good-sized tube, its scent is quite nice, the lather is a pleasure to work up, and the menthol effect is strong enough. A couple of splashes of the Snake Bite really do the job of freezin' the old kisser off! ;) :D
