It took me a month to get comfortable and longer than that to get good at it. Remember to use very light pressure. You can do it

Pretty good shave. Don't think the Derby Premium pairs well with the slant as it felt a little rough, but still had good results in the end.

Hang in there. I use Feather AC type razors, so not quite the same, but it took me a little over 30 shaves to feel like I was really getting the hang of it, with all three passes, etc. Another twenty or so later, and I feel like it is becoming second nature.

It is often said it takes 100 shaves to feel like you have attained any level of mastery, and that is probably true, but it isn't as though a guy has to have three straight months of bad shaves. They get better every day. I don't even want to use my safety razors anymore.

And all my scars are faded away now.

    Jaguar Prestige A/S lotion

Was surprised yesterday to have a pretty poor shave with a normally dependable DE [ A Progress]. Obviously was operator error, as today with a waning blade, had a really smooth and comfortable shave with the agile push button. Due to the slick lather of the soap I was with ease able to do polishing up strokes, which resulted in a very good close all round finish.
