I scored a few items while I was in Portland

12 soap containers for samples


When I got home this was waiting


While in Portland I visited Portland Razor (pictures of the tour are posted under my thread on Oregon Shops). While the tour was great this Chimera was my big score

 

I haven't used it yet, but out of the bottle it's really limey. I'll let you know when I use it this week.

 

I was wondering if that was what was in that box. I want one and can't wait to hear how it shaves.

 

Nice finds. They all look like they will clean up great.

 

It feels impressive in the hand, balanced with nice weight. I had a short morning so I didn't get to use it but I will for my next shave.

Hahaha I wouldn't call it that, I had 15 minutes to shave. It was more like self preservation

lolllllll Unfortunately not. Miriam, the oldest has been married for 11 years, and Nathalie, the youngest got married this past summer. I'll say this - all those ladies are drop-dead gorgeous!

 

Already have my Yo! brother!

 

For a chance to use that, I would have feigned an intestinal illness and stayed home. Heck I would have eaten spoiled meat and actually had the intestinal illness.

So Friends,

her now the Birthday Gifts from my Family and my Wifey:

First there is the Gillette Rocket Parat:





It´s in very nice condition and shaves like a champ. I´m very impressed.

Then, there is my Eversharp Hydromagic from Schick:




It´s in very good condition too.

Now i received two things for my other Hobby. Pipe smoking...

A Savinelli 311 Dolomiti. I LOVE the stem because it looks so awesome.




Second one is a pipe from a German pipe maker in southern Germany...Anton Manger. He is over 80 years old and still produces pipes together with his son. He only makes free hand pipes for a very good price.




Together with this, i received two tins of one of my favourite Tobaccos:

Stanwell Sungold (formerly Vanilla)



This is it. I feel blessed and humbled about these great gifts. I have a wonderful family. Not because of the gifts, but they are with me, when i need them, we can talk about everything and everyone takes care of each other.
