    Yes, I know that most people reading this are guys, so this is not a project you will do for yourselves. But if your wife/girlfriend likes vintage stuff (or has a favorite compact whose powder has been used up) this may be worth a read.

    I have a favorite vintage compact that came with powder that was a little too dark for me, so I removed it (by gently scraping & crushing it with a bamboo skewer. Then I mixed it with a lighter shade of loose powder. After that, I just needed some rubbing alcohol, paper towel (to cover the table) and a tissue. Below is a video on how to turn loose powder into pressed powder;
