Cella After Shave

Used the Cella A/S that I scored last week this morning(see SOTD). Had a very nice scent. Sorta reminded me of Proraso Green. It was a little slick-like. I was expecting it though after reading some of the reviews. Overall a keeper!

 

I also recently bought a bottle of Cella after shave. I really like the scent. I was expecting it to smell like the soap (which I like very much) but it doesn't. I don't have Proraso Green so I'm not sure what other scent it reminds me of. I have been using it with my woodsy scented soaps. Works well.

 

Well sir, while I do like the scent of the soap, I'm not sure I would want to go around smelling like the Italian cookies my grandma used to get from the bakery!

 

I just got a bottle of PAA’S Cella cool and man its good. Pairs really well with Soap Commander's latest winter scent

I think the Cella a/s smells like Eternity for Men, by Calvin Klein.

I like it very much, it is quite moisturizing.

 

I did notice that it was a little "slick" when I applied it.

 

So, I used my Cella A/S again this morning. My post usually has Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer involved, but with the Cella there's no need. Also the scent is very long lasting. I applied it around 0630 and it's still going.

 

After a fantastic BBS shave this morning, I splashed on some Cella Lozione Dopobarba. I love it cause it not only smells great but I don't have to use my usual moisturizer.

 

Okay, I am sold!

Using the GEM Featherweight this month. So I've been getting some really close shaves. The Cella Lozione Dopobarba really does a nice job moisturizing my face after the shave. And it smells great too!

I just looked it up and I was a bit surprised by the price, especially considering that Cella soap is fairly inexpensive, but it seems to vary a bit across different sites.

I'm curious about the ingredients and I managed to find them online in case anyone else is interested:

– PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil
– Panthenol
– Allantoin
– Hydroxyethylcellulose
– Citral
– Eugenol

£9 for 100ml is not too bad, in my opinion. Found at Connaught shaving.

Edit: unfortunately DPD Road shipping spoils it a bit.

 

I will more than likely be using Cella A/S tomorrow morning as I plan on bringing the Razorock XXX. The Cella pairs up very nicely. No need for my usual moisturizer either, as it does the job in that department too.

 

All Cella shave in the morning with the '52 Super Speed Black Tip/Shark Super Chrome combo. Cella Crema Da Braba to mow 'em down, Cella Lozione Dopobarba to make me smell nice!

Cella A/S this morning, after a great shave with the '52 Super Speed Black Tip. So smelling like a proper Italian gent it was off to work.

 

Used the Cella for my back to work shave this morning. 2.5 passes of shaving excellence with the GEM Featherweight. Had a PAL blade loaded. And naturally I finished with Cella Lozione Dopobarba. Love the smell and here it is 1128 and I still can get a whiff once in a while.
