Why didn't you guys told me that the Gillete Silver Blue blades were this good?! I think that they dethroned Feathers for me. Just need to test them with different razors to see how they behave in different combos, but for now? Top tier.

Second use of the Treet Silver blade and it performed very well. Two passes with some touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

 

Early morning shave, gorgeous sunrise. A quick 2 pass shave, not much stubble to be honest. Pulled out a couple RR products that have been dormant in the shave den for a bit. A smooth, clean and refreshing shave today. All components performed flawlessly. Have a great day and shaves Gents....

Today's shave was with my my first successful Straight Razor. I had a very smooth an enjoyable 2 pass shave, no touch-ups. This left me with a DFS. This is a very well built, and great shaving razor, despite the wear.

It's always a pleasure to use this fine soap, the scents are unique and lather quality is excellent. I would put this stuff up there with Ballenclaugh as being one of my favorite soaps. Anyways, ended up with a clean smooth shave.

Excellent shave yesterday morning. Love the lather quality and scents of Ballenclaugh, this one is not a typical tobacco scent, it has a earthy "hay" type of note to it.

Soap: Labelle Forest Moss
Post: Pinaud Vanilla (mentholated)


Whipped up a nice lather this morning with the Labelle soap. The blade is starting to show signs of age, so not the best shave but acceptable. Finished off with a splash of Vanilla Clubman. Hope everyone had a wonderful shave!

The VDH Deluxe Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #188 synthetic brush. I did the two passes with the Gillette Tech razor and Personna Super blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

More adventures in Frankenrazoring. SABI cap on the R41 baseplate. Weird shave, the cap really limited cutting angle while increasing aggression where effective. Not a keeper, BBS but not a real standout in the comfort department.
