The CO Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #195 synthetic brush. I did the two passes with the Gillette 195 razor and Personna Super blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

That's the end of the Schick Proline P-30 SE blade life with a total maximum of 10 shaves with the Colonial General razor and my stubble, I was hoping the Schick Proline SE blade could reach up to a maximum of 20 shaves.


WOW!! I'm totally shocked.

My next shave with a new blade with the Colonial General will be the Feather Pro and after that.....the next blade will be the Feather Pro Super.

Marvelous shave with the Gillette Sensor 5 this morning. Three passes for a dolphin smooth and refreshing finish. Enjoy your day friends.

 

I feel like my face has a built-in air conditioner after this menthol bombardment - the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap, the Glacial Unscented balm, and the Snake Bite can have that effect on you. A dynamite BBS shave thanks to the new Astra in my Super Speed and the Plissoft synthetic made the lather explode!

Hi all, here's today's SOTD-



This morning I shaved with a 1937/38 Gillette Senator. I got so tired of these wonderful razors not having a proper case, that I repurposed an old damaged New Standards case, and dressed it up a little for this great razor. I'm happy to say, it is perfect! Anyway, have a great day everyone!

Although #1 is a touch too mild for me, ‘The Rock’/Polsilver combo delivered a lovely BBS shave..
