It looks an awful lot like a W&B, doesn't it? I would call it a near wedge. [IMG]

Razor: Gillette Flair Tip (A3) (1955)
    Blade: Wilkinson (1)
    Brush: WDC-8 w/APShave Co.Cashmere
    Soap: Nuavia Blu
    Aftershave: Myrsol F/Extra
Bowl: The Distinctive Goat Sinker Cypress Wood

For me the Flare Tip is an unsung hero of the Vintage Gillette razors line.

I honestly don't know what to look for. Most of my TV specials are things like the Super Bowl or March Madness. I can send a couple of pics later and you can tell me!

June 25 - just loving Saponificio Varesino!

    Merkur 34C
    Rapira Platinum Lux(day 3)
    Dark Chocolate (Jr148) brush
    DIY PSO
    Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary soap
    Alum/Thayers/Stirling Executive Man Balm

Ah, today was SV 70th soap. This soap is AMAZING!!!! The scent is a citrus scent that kinda reminds me of a B&M Seville with more citrus! Love it!!! Nice medium strength scent. Adding about 3 teaspoons to a 30 second load yielded a super slick soap. This stuff is heavenly. Yeah, I know I am a tallow man but this stuff is the cat's meow. I love the tin and the fact that it is a triple milled hard soap. The scent is wonderful and 3.5 passes got the BBS. Alum was tingling a little. Since I was planning on using Club de Nuit Intense, I used Stirling EM Balm, not that it was really necessary but because I enjoy the scent and would pair with the cologne.

The left over lather was given to my wife and daughter since we were going to my nephew's 4th birthday party. Since I felt it was a tad thinner, I squeezed out the brush into the bowl and did another 10 sec load. The lather was now the perfect density yielding excellent cushion and glide. Both of them just loved the soap as well. Wife said she felt nicely moisturized.

This soap is a family favorite and will grace out bath for as long as it is available.

I have not seen or tried it but that is definitely in Korea. Unfortunately they didn't show the name or location of the restaurant. The set with the bomb pizza and pasta dishes is about USD $50.

Today's hair reduction is brought to you by:
    Merkur 34c
    Feather
    Maggard Plissoft
Barrister & Mann Seville Shave Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Stirling Executive Man AS

The Merkur was the first razor I purchased after my initial first drugstore cheapy DE. The drugstore razor was a gap monster and I tore my face up with it starting out. The Merkur was a nice change at the time because it was heavy, felt well made, and was mild as a kitten. It still is. I need a Feather in it to get a good shave. It's just much too mild a razor my for my tastes these days. It looks good, feels good and is built like a tank. I just like more aggression in my life right now. I still came out with a very nice shave. I just felt I had to work harder to get there.

The first run with the Seville was a winner. It was very, very thirsty and took a minute to dial in, but once I got it, it was a pleasure. The scent is right in my wheelhouse and is a definite keeper. I wish I had an aftershave with that scent, but it paired up well with Executive Man.
