    I think there are very good reasons why this razor design lasted for literally decades- they worked. Same with the simple 3 piece Tech.

    Glad that combo worked for you @Bird Lives. I like experimenting with blade/razor combinations - it really changes the shave and it's a worthwhile pursuit to find what suits you best. :happy088:

    This maybe just me, but some times when I shave real close and have to clear a field or something I get a little sting. But I kinda like it( that's the weird part).

    Really going to miss using the Nuavia soaps everyday. They are all great shave soaps.

    Using a big Omega Pro #10098 boar knot in a small Klar soap tin? No worries. Grab the knot, load the brush. Fragrant quintuple milled soap into lather in no time flat. Great scrub from the fresh NOS looking knot as I'm still breaking this one in. Dropped a different, unused Twin blade into the injector. The other was used a short time during the @twhite Type M pass around, then loaded back into the cartridge for hoped for future uses. It didn't do well, but the second blade set is cherry, sharp, & smooth. Three passes and a bit of S-slides granted all smooth & no errors. Alum didn't peep, and the Pinaud carried the sweetness of the Mandel forward.

    I haven't sniffed Mr. Blass (go ahead @Bookworm ;)).
    It's described as "Leather, Incense and Vetiver " so I can see them blending well.
