Nice setup! Can you draw a comparison between Reef Point's Barbershop scent and other interpretations? I'm interested in grabbing a couple more for the improvised shave den. Current fav barbershop scent is Stirling. Thanks!

My scent vocabulary is akin to the 8-box of crayons! But, I have owned Stirling Barbershop before and can therefore do a rudimentary comparison. They are definitely different. Stirling's version is powdery to me. Well, the soap was. The Stirling Barbershop splash was quite sweet. There was some kind of caramel and vanilla note in the splash. Anyway, the Reef Point is a very clean and sophisticated scent. Not powdery at all but also nothing like Clubman or strong scents like that.

Reef Point's website describes as thus: If you like but more traditional scents then this is the choice for you. It's a clean, masculine scent reminiscent of traditional barbershop aftershave with hints of orange peel and spices.

Hope that helps! It's a really nice scent and I would recommend it.

    Proraso Pre Shave
Jeeves of Hudson Street Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #144
    Schick I Hydro-Magic
    Personna Stainless
    CWR
    Thayer's Peach WH
    Barbasol AS

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Jeeves of Hudson Street Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 finest badger brush. I did the two passes with the Schick I Hydro-Magic and Personna Stainless blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thanks Clint. Hard to beat a repeater in the injector series and really like the Panda shave soap. Easy to lather, slick, and great post shave feel. One I don't need a balm afterwards.
