The Segal was a little rough, my guess is the way I modified the Tian Li blade left something to be desired. On the other hand, the head shave with the PAA Bakelite slant , ridiculously paired with the heavy Stealth Slant handle, two shims, and a fresh Nacet, was surprisingly great, smooth, close, two pass plus not much clean up BBS.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-COLD and beautiful was this shave this morning from the Glacial Black Cherry soap - truthfully and honestly, the menthol effect is off the charts. The bathroom smelled from the black cherry scent and the lather was such a pleasure to work up. Although I only needed three passes to accomplish my mission I easily could have done an extra one. The Diana Menthol balm is extremely-cold also and it's unscented so there's no danger of it spoiling the scent of an eau de toilette or cologne. The Rubby Dubby Doo was most enjoyable as well - a couple of splashes on my face and head froze me some more. This Egyptian Musk is a fragrance oil which I picked up for a couple of bucks and it doesn't really smell musky. It has a deep, exotic scent which Madame says is sexy on me!

RAZOR: Sabi 3 Piece Extra Heavyweight - Gold tone (4 inch handle, 4 ounces)- a medium aggressive razor for me.
BLADE: FRESH Dorco Platinum ST-300
PRE SHAVE: none for 2 passes- cold cream for 2 MORE passes - bowl lather in small desert bowl.
SHAVE CREAM: The Art of Shaving - Lavender Essential Oil - for Sensitive Skin
BRUSH: Shea Moisture Ultimate Shave Brush - badger
AFTER SHAVE: Clubman Lilac Vegetal
BALM: Maison the Collection Vanilla Lavender Lotion

I am mostly unaccustomed to the Lavender scents. That's probably why I promptly forgot about this shave cream after I used it once years ago.
The cream didn't really need any help, but I am addicted to the cooling feel of menthol, and so will supplement for that with cold cream.

Got a very smooth, event free 4 PASS shave. BBS all the way.
You may say "4 PASSES seems excessive!" Mostly I would agree.
BUT - I had not used this razor for quite some time; and the cream for years!
I was really just enjoying the shave sooo much, and was enjoying this razor very much.
There was plenty of rich creamy lather to spare. So, after the 3rd pass I pondered -why not one more pass?

What a great start to the day. Will be visiting my 1+ year old grandson today. I will have to compare my face feel with his.

Note: I`m going to play around with some ads until I get better with this camera, then comes a lot of `Comic strips`. Fair enough?

Again, the Flex head with the twin blade did a marvelous job (near BBS). WTG/ATG, a couple touch-ups, and voila: I only feel smooth skin. Let`s not forget how much better, or more efficient the Proraso is. Both passes were smooth and without incident. Wishing for the shave each of you want. God Bless to all.
