I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with Buckethead, but if you like guitar playing you should be. I know about 12 or so of his compositions but recently started diving deeper. WOW, what an amazing player. Being that he has over 300 solo albums, I have no idea where to begin. I recommend using Spotify or Pandora and enjoying this amazing artist !!!
I was eighteen years old when I moved into an apartment with some older Heads, and discovered this band (and very album), Graffix, and academic probation.
This album was dedicated to Brent after he died in '90 or early '91. I saw them in Chicago in late '90, in one of Brent's last shows. Next show I saw them, Hornsby was on keyboards. This era maybe wasn't Jerry's prime, but damn they were tight. Maybe it's just because it was "my time", it seemed/seems that way.
