Glad I changed over to the Avon 4 Men A.S this morning-it's too chilly for Aqua Velva. But the weather is playing tricks on us, it will hit 82 on Sunday, then 86 on Monday. Back to the cold stuff!!

22 SEptember 2017 R E D Friday Blade Focus Shave Pre: Hot water, soap from the container and a hot towel Razor: GEM MicroMatic Open Comb circa 1930-1940 Blade: TREET Super Single Edge Brush: Omega 6212 Silvertip Soap: Route 66 "Rum Runner" by @Salty Belle Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer After Shave: Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum If it's Friday, I'm shaving with Route 66 "Rum Runner" and wearing RED Last day of the work and shave week. The TREET blade put forth a valiant effort, but PAL has won the day. With what skills I have, I managed to get a respectable WWS out of it before consigning it to the blade bin. Today also brings to a close my week with my Omega Silvertip. It handled soaps nicely. Last of my brush lineup, the Omega 10098 is up for next week. Have a great Friday and an even better weekend my fellow Denizens! HOOAH! HOOYAH! OOORAH! Carry on
SEptember 22, 2017 OneBlade Genesis V2 Feather FHS Shavemac Silvertip D01 3 Band Mystic Water Lilac Captain’s Choice Bay Rum Today is the start of my three day sanity break weekend. The Feather FHS blade is getting a little tired so I went with a three pass shave this morning. I went XTG, ATG and XTG followed by a few touch ups ending in near perfect shave. My bottom right neck proved my nemesis this morning. A splash of Bay Rum and I am ready to go. I hope everyone has a great Friday. Loaded up and waiting on rush hour to end.
You just ruined the whole story for me by throwing in the possibility the the knickers were from a cross-dresser.
22 SEptember Pre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: 24mm Silvertip, Frank Shaving Soap: Gravity, Uncle Jon's Razor: Superior 1900 Lather Catcher Blade: Treet (1) Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse and Clubman After Shave Lotion, Pinaud Photo: I used Uncle Jon's Gravity Shaving Soap for the first time today. The scent on the soap I would describe as "Good". On the Uncle Jon's web site it lists the scents as: "Top Notes: Crisp Alpine Air, Mandarin, Bergamot, Mid Notes: Black Pepper, Cardamom & Dry Notes: Vetiver, Suede, Vanilla, Teakwood" I loaded my brush about 30 seconds. Which is typical for me, maybe a little longer than normal but not by a lot. I faced lathered and was given a nice thick lather with a good slickness. Overall impression of the soap is "I would buy it again". Today's razor I went back to the LC. I shaved with the LC last, back on the 19th. At that time I had a well used Treet blade in it and it left a lot of room for improvement. Today I put a new PAL blade in it and was well rewarded for it. I never felt the blade. No lie, it was like taking a hot knife to butter. I felt like I was shaving with a table knife. That was how smooth the shave was. After two passes I looked clean shaven. Though I still had plenty of soap left in the brush and was having a shave that dreams are made of so I did a XTG third pass. Finished it all off with some Clubman AS. Don't know if it was the right pairing as far as scents but it will work for today. I was left with damn near BBS. I don't know if any dolphins would cry over the smoothness of my face but I believe I would fit into a pod.
It’s always a nice day when I start out with some of my favorite gear. I’m smooth and smelling great Route 66 Sweeney Todd Soap Rubberset 400 Brush Wade and Butcher Celebrated Razor Lucky Tiger Ogallala Bay Rum After Shave Happy Friday!

SOTD Stirling SEptember Schick Lady Eversharp Injector K1 Personna Mini Hair Shaper Anchorset Stirling Red Delicious Barbasol Pacific Rush ASB The Lady Eversharp was more aggressive then I would have though and the long handle really makes it easy to fine tune the angle. 3 smooth passes for a BBS finish and some Pacific Rush ASB to cover up the feminine fragrance of the Red Delicious! Have a great weekend everyone! TGIF!!
There he is! Another week in the books (almost anyway) rewarded by Andrew's son smiling at me. Cheers gentlemen!
