And what a wonderful shave I had with that soap. It's not a face-freezer but you still get a very nice menthol effect!

For tomorrow I think I'll need a Glacial freeze again because we're getting another heat wave. I'll pull out the Black Cherry one.
I have a friend looking to get her husband a starter kit for Christmas. I tried to give her a vintage razor to start but she wants to get him new. What is the consensus on Stirlings Razors? Ive seen somewhat mixed reviews so far. I saw the starter kit on their website and love their soaps and after shave so was thinking of sending her there. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
I love mine. I upgraded to the open comb, and got the bigger brush with my set. I think Stirling's starter sets are hands-down the best way to get started!
The closed comb is an EJ clone, so you can't go wrong there. I believe most if not all of the neg press I have seen was over the slant, which is not being sold.
I'm still in shock at how terrific the Glacial Black Cherry soap is. I used it for my shave today and I enjoyed it so much!
Tomorrow, I'm going to defy my own logic. What do I mean by that? You'll see. I will say it'll be the Wintergreen for the shave.
Stirling absolutely, bar none, makes my best lather for straight shaving. You could run it so wet it's darn near running off your face, but it never disappears on you. It is SO stable. I can lather up my whole face for my ATG pass, and dork around with cleanup on parts, adding a little dab here, a swipe there, and the rest of it holds up like I just mixed it.
I'm gonna do the Glacial Lemon Chill trio tomorrow - soap, balm, and witch hazel. That's a great way to beat the heat!
Any Stirling in Mutton tallow sounds amazing to me. Something about mutton just makes amazing lathers
