    After an especially good day at work today I felt like cracking open my rye whiskey for an old fashioned.

    The ironic thing is the night I make an old fashioned I switch to a newer razor - my first try with my Rocket HD. Newer than a New... none of this business makes sense to me.

    It's a good shave though. Almost BBS... :cool:

    Shave 3 with the MR-SE from Ikon. Smooth and efficient was the order of the day. Locks in the blade and no play whatsoever. Smoother and better than the original El Jefe. BBS results with 2 passes and minor buffing to clean up stragglers. Couple of pecks on the cheeks and Misses approved. Have a great evening and shaves Gents... ;)    ​

    I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Jeff's Soap Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #227 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Acevivi Dual Comb razor and Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
