Wednesday October. 18 - Wool Fat Wednesday and Odds and Ends October Supply Provision Single Edge injector on two-dot plate. / Personna ( about 5) Semogue Owners Club cherrywood boar brush Kent/MWF in wooden tub Alum and Portland General Store's Willow Toner I managed to get a good lather whipped up from the Fat using the SOC boar brush today. Maybe the brush is finally breaking in or I am learning to load it correctly or both. I now get a good shave from the SP injector on the second plate every time I use it. No blood or irritation today. Alum had nothing much to say. I used the PGS black willow bark toner again today. It gives a pleasant astringent cleansing that I quite enjoy. Its main drawback is that it has a smell reminiscent of tree bark steeped in vinegar. Funny that. It will never win any scent awards though.
We just made it home from Maya's Surgery. She did have a labrum tear and the doctor was able to fully repair the tear. She is still a nauseous and in a lot of pain but that was to be expected. She will be on crutches for the next 2-4 months followed by some intensive physical therapy but this should end with her pain free and able to resume normal activities. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
That’s fantastic news that the surgery was a success and that, in time, she’ll be able to get back to a normal life again!!
Great to hear that the surgery went so well. I hope the recovery is equally smooth. Best wishes for Maya as she faces the next few months.
Clint, that is wonderful news regarding Maya's prognosis! Praise the Lord for answered prayers today! I will continue to pray for her complete recovery!

I just read about this, as I am completely beyond the hope of ever catching up on this months thread. Clint, I am glad to hear she is going to be okay, and will say a prayer.
