The Official Secret Santa Thread 2017 edition is up and running, so if you've signed up for it, how about dropping some hints here to make it a little easier on your Secret Santa. A thought from one of the participants: you might consider to list allergies and belief preferences like "vegan", "no tallow", or "no boar". This thread isn't just for the Secret Santa participants, it's open to all the TSD members to post their Holiday Wish List! For our members that observe Hanukkah, feel free to list a gift for all 8 days.
Well, let's see! I would love a Colonial General SE razor, but that's a little above the price point for this! I have yet to try Catie's Bubbles, Barrister & Mann, or WSP as far as soaps. Haven't tried any of the Chatillon Lux products either. Soap Commander Vision and Honor are on my lists for soap purchases down the road. Stirling Arkadia and Ozark Mountain are also high on my list. I own one tobacco aftershave splash (Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf) but would like to try another. I'd like to try some of the new Folsom and Co aftershaves. Bay rum is not a favorite scent category. I'll keep editing as I see and remember products that are interesting. Thanks!!
I am on a soap kick. Wanting to try Wholly Kaw, Tallow & Steel, L&L, Grooming Dept. and a few others (although not bay rum). To see what I have and what I don’t, my somewhat excessive inventory is posted here. As you can see, I don’t NEED anything, so it’s the thought that counts.
Hmm... As far as soaps or aftershaves, I'd like to try Crowne & Crane Tobacco Leaf and Amber, vintage or imported Aqua Velva, or Shulton Old Spice. For hardware, a synthetic brush in the 24-30 mm range, an old mug or scuttle, or an open comb Gillette.
Over the years I have satisfied most of my AD’s, but there are for sure some things on my wish list. I will update it as I think of possibilities. - I broke my beloved Captain’s Choice bowl earlier this year, and I have tried numerous, less breakable replacements, but I haven’t been able to find anything that comes even close. -Items, shaving related or not, that come from the region you live in. Love to try new pepper sauces, BBQ sauces, spices and rubs, coffees, you name it. - I am running out of Ogallala Bay Rum Limes and Peppercorns AS, and I definitely want to replace it. I love that scent, but would love to try any of the others. I also want to try one of the soaps. I have never tried soaps from the following: Wholly Kaw Sudsy Soapery Mystic Waters (new version) WSP Phoenix and Beau Caties Bubbles (new version) Soapy Bathman

I'm not participating in the Secret Santa(but what a wonderful thing it is, maybe in the future), and I'm getting set to prepare for NB18(which everyone knows will be a great success for me, right? right), but here's a wish-list that doesn't include what I'm buying: Soaps: TSE(The Soap Exchange)-Texas Leather Rte 66-Lumberjack Crowne&Crane-Spruce L&L Grooming-Cure D'Espices(or however you spell it lol). Aftershaves: Stephan Bay Rum Stetson AS/Cologne Long Rifle Soaps Inc. Hunting Lodge
So let's see... -I like the color green. So anything with a green handle would be cool. - In a SE guy, mainly injectors but willing to try any SE. - Local soaps, something that might not be well known but is locally made. An artisan artisan soap if you will. - As for scents, I like citrus things but doesn't have to be. - I'd love to find a scent that fills the bathroom. - Some soaps I'd like to try: Mitchell's Wool Fat, Route 66, Chiseled Face, Soap Commander, Regiment - I do enjoy TSD products. - I'd like to try from Razorock: Mudder Focker shave soap, RazoRock Black Hawk SE razor, Big Bruce shaving brush If I can think of anything else I'll be sure to add.
A Jayaruh brush. Single ring. Rocket and one of them col conk square shave bowls. Can’t find one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What I really want is a Razorock satin silver single edge razor V2 and a Blade pack to match razor. I like Astra SP if that helps. Thanks... Soaps are always nice as are AS and anything you might care to give.

For me, I have a ton of software, and razors. There are a few things I still want, though. Chiseled Face San Paulo soap or set, Myrosol F aftershave, any Little Valley straight (Korn, Cattaraugus, Case, ect.) I am open to other stuff, just not sure what it would be. I tend to like citrus and floral scents, and avoid vanilla or Tonka bean. Edit- Also like Fougere scents, Oak Moss, and Fern.
I've never heard of " Russian Leather" TSD products for shaving. It is necessary to have it in your list of desirable acquisitions. Никогда не слышал о продуктах для бритья "Русская кожа" TSD. Нужно это иметь в своём списке желательных приобретений.
I don't need any hardware. For software, I have very sensitive skin, and I can only use soap or cream that is completely free of fragrances and menthol. Happily, many soap makers provide unscented options that are wonderful. Here are some ideas that I would enjoy: Barrister & Mann Latha unscented Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements unscented Chiseled Face unscented soap TOBS natural unscented cream Your favorite soap or cream, in an unscented version Even more than soap or cream, I would love to have something from your region -- a favorite local/regional coffee or tea or maybe a favorite treat that is unique to where you live. I have greatly enjoyed getting coffees and foods from various places in past gift exchanges!
I just like to be surprised. I like soaps, creams, razors, shavettes, aftershaves, coffee, tea... I'm easy. I have lots of Stirling and Lisa's Natural soaps, so I am good there. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
