Love my new Injector experience. Excellent shaves - while they last. I got 5 great shaves out of the blade, 2 good shaves, and 1 poor shave. So 8 total shaves, but I would say I should have changed after 5 or 6. I have gotten 14 shaves or more out of a DE blade - and tomorrow I will start counting my shaves with the Gillette Silver Blue DE in my Weishi Aluminum. (Stay tuned for that in a few weeks.) At once a week blade change outs, the DE is still MUCH more economical than the SE. But both are still much better than cartridge razors. About .80 / week for SE - $3.47 per month, or $41.60 per year on blades. About .10 / week for DE - .43 per month, or $5.20 per year on blades. The Injectors are cool razors, and I will continue to use them. But can anyone actually AFFORD the extra $3.03 a month to use those expensive blades?
I'd experiment further with injector. Your angle may be off. Injector blades routinely last 15-20 shaves in my experience. Cost is about the same as 3-5 shaves on De.
I will certainly take that under advisement. Thank you for the reply. I sure was hoping for more out of the blades because I do enjoy the razor quite a bit.
