Me too! I like most of these so far. There was only one that I disliked.

 

Just finished sample F. Seemed like a soapy smell to me, although my nose sucks when it comes to identity key notes. LOL! Overall, I found it a middle ground soap. Performed alright on almost everything except post shave. My skin felt a little dry after the shave. Can't wait for sample G. Because I know that one very well.

 

I'm pretty sure I'll be doing a double take once the reveal is given.

 

Sample B today: I struggled to get to the wetness I like for straights, I did not rate highly for slickness but it was good enough to get the job done. It was easy to lather but not much scent.

 

Shave with F is in the books. I didn't like the scent quite as much, but I got a wet, slick lather. It performed well.

 

Finished off sample C this morning. For me, overall I rate it meh.

I used sample K this morning. It was a tough one to lather. It’s more like a soap and my brush kept chasing it around in the mug. Scent was mild, but pleasant. Slickness was decent.

Am I really almost through the samples?

 

For me so far, A-C were better than the previous one.

 

Got done with sample G for a face shave using the Gem Micromatic with the PTFE blade. Absolute pure bliss!

 

I have decided to add another razor / blade combo for this, which I should've done earlier. A Gillette Bostonian (Canada) with an Israeli Personna Stainless blade. Edited accordingly........

 

Used sample C today..... this one is not suited for straight razors. I could not get the slick, wet lather I like. Onward!

 

I used sample L this morning. I paired it up with a boar brush and my Gem bullet tip.

I won’t spill the beans as many of us haven’t used L yet, but I did find this one interesting.

 

H is in the books. I found the scent a bit on the musty side, but not offensive. I can't really say anything negative about it functionally, as I got a perfectly good shave with it, but at the same time there was no wow factor either. Could I use it? Yes. Will I buy it? Doubtful.

Shave with G is done. I see what everyone is saying about the runny cream. I got a nice shave with it, though. The scent was also pretty nice. This is my favorite so far.

 

H definitely has a tobacco scent. Middle of the road performance wise.
