A 2 pass, WTG/ATG with a clean up slurry on my neck, resulting in a near perfect shave. One little nick on the corner of my mouth on the ATG, a real tricky task, I`ll have to work on that, otherwise everything was smooth, clean and close. Enjoyed all 40 minutes, ( except the nick). Hope everybody had as much fun as I did. God Bless to all.

Love your product variety and pics as always. That brush is fantastic for a 'green' theme.

Razor - Gillette Red Tip Superspeed circa 1955-1960 (Re-plated in Satin-Nickel Finish by Razor Emporium.)
Blade - BiC Chrome Platinum *5th shave
Shave Brush - Ever-Ready 1960's vintage (Polished and re-knotted with a 26mm Ubersoft II knot from Envyshave by Razor Emporium.)
    Pre-shave Oil - Lather & Wood "unscented"
Shave Soap - Old Spice Type scent by The Village Soapsmith
Aftershave - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic"
Post-shave Balm - Retseliney Luxury Skin Care Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum
Deodorant - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic"
Fragrance - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic"

Going with the Old Spice Proctor & Gamble style today. Got a good shave. The Village Soapsmith soap doesn't have a stable lather, so I don't shave in passes, but in 'sections' and apply lather as I go, then shave before it fades. However, I never ditched the soap because it at least has a good slickness and the scent is a fantastic match for Old Spice. Alas, the soap will be used up soon and I will be replacing it with Old Spice shave soap in a tube that I ordered from India. I will be squeezing the soap into the Old Spice Mug, smooshing it down then letting it dry for weeks until it solidifies into a harder soap. I hope this method works because it would give me genuine Old Spice shave soap cheap and it's made from vegetal ingredients which my skin prefers. The super-old Shulton soaps are tallow based. So far I've only had minor irritation from them 'sometimes'. This idea to dry out the tube-based soap in the mug seems like it could be a winning solution for me.

Still one of my favorites. It's got just the right amount of backbone. It applies lather better than any other brush I own due to the balance of the right amount of 'give'. It's not so soft that it's sloppy and it's not so stiff that it needs more soap than necessary.

    Hi Friends,

    i don´t know if i said it...but if not:

:bounce017:Happy New Year to all of you :bounce017:

Here my first shave in 2018-i had it this morning before heading to work:

Razor: 1960 Gillette Fat Boy / Blade: Astra SP / Soap: Antiga Barbearia de Bairro / Brush: Semogue 620 / Aftershave: Antiga Barbearia de Bairro

This year started as the last year left...wonderful!!! The Fat Boy is a great razor. Gentle and smooth in 3 passes (on setting 3). The soap lathered easily and gave a great chushiony, slick protection. I had to use this wonderful Aftershave again...WHAT a scent!!! For me an absolute winner.

That´s it for now, hope all are doing well. Enjoy your shaves and take care.

    Greetings
    Thorsten
