    That's the attitude, go for it and before you know it you will be getting excellent shaves.

    For a first razor I recommend 6/8, grind anywhere from full hollow to 3/4, save the wedges for later.

    It really was. I was just looking for a pouch for one of my straights and ran across the GD 208. For the price I thought I'd give it a try. It supposedly honed by a honemeister, and I found it to be both sharp and smooth. YMMV
