I was tempted to switch to the TSD Russian Leather A.S. this morning, as it's going to be quite cooler today, but decided, ahhh I won't freeze with a slight menthol A.S. like Stirling Sandpiper. Might use it again tomorrow, as things will warm up some.To paraphrase my man Jack Palance, from his famous Skin Bracer ad(yeah, I know, this is the second time I'm doing that in two weeks)"Sophistication is manleh...........don't you think?(I had to say manly his way-"manleh" :).

    Razor: English Flat Bottom New
    Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum (2)
    Brush: Semogue 620
    Soap: Der Vergulde Hand
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

I had the house to myself this morning, so it was a good time to break out a soap. The Semogue boar and the DVH worked together for a great lather. Meanwhile, the FB New and Dorco made an excellent combination. An effortless BBS with no issues.

    Great photo, Clint.
Love that brush handle again, Mark.
Another cool effect, Jim! If you are getting one pass DFSs, very well done indeed.
Cool colours on your photo, Perry. Have a great week.

Thank you Gentlemen. @Screwtape you're correct the boar is breaking in very nicely.

    Thank you, Jim!

I am now 2 months into my year of fun with the micromatic. Since I revisited the micromatic last summer for august and september, I found myself being drawn towards the SE. In November, I put all of my DE razors away and decided to try to do a year with the micromatic. I think I will end up paring down my hoard of crap soon as I have been more than happy...

Menthol Monday with Fine Snakebite soap and some Gillette AS gel. Sticking with the Mercur and Shark combo lather whipped up with the JR177 in an Old Spice mug.

I'm seeing more comments bearing out what you say here. I was hoping I would get that feedback because in spite of my experience with the sample I know that the Bay Rum is quite potent in the tub. I figured the rest would follow suit and getting away from samples would prove it out.

Great looking brush Mark. I am so happy that knot replacement turned out well.

    Wonderful picture and lineup Jim.

Great lineup and photo Perry. Good luck with the work week.

Great photo Jason. The Gem razors seem to be working very good for you as well.

Great looking setup. I have always enjoyed CF’s scent concoctions. He does complex scents, but they aren’t as hot and miss for me as, for example, B and M. The zoologist stuff seems pretty interesting.

An Owners Club has been on my list for some time, but the last two Semogues I had shed badly enough that they went in the bin. I have been hesitant to buy one. I hope yours has not caught mange.

Great photo. Somehow pics placed there remind me of an Easter Egg Hunt. A prize tucked away, waiting to be found.
