Against the Grain (ATG) Group Purchase

    This brush is the result of a group buy from ATG. They commissioned Michael Red to make the brush. The handle is Yew Wood; the knot is a Silvertip. Additionally, Le Pere Lucien made a Cade scented soap and AS. The knot is wonderful and the finish on the handle is beautiful. The brush stand is from a piece of Oak wood from my firewood pile. I am fortunate to have acquired this brush.

    It was a bummer period. Would like to have one of each but could only justify one so went with the Shavemac.

    Thanks for the kind comments. I had never heard of Michael Red until I saw this brush. He is out of France. I am not sure where he sources his knots but they are very nice. If you are looking for one of his brushes, he has a site on Etsy.
