Hello from the UK

    hello, newbie here . Been using a Merkur de for a couple of years now. Finally this week saw the light and brought a 2 Vintage Gillette razors. Don’t know anyone else who is into this proper shaving so might need some help with identifying razors and just general advice. Thx in advance

    Welcome @Ric8205! Post up some photos and folks will be quick, fast, and in a hurry to help identify your gear. With old Gillettes there may be a Date Code on the underside of the base plate. It will be a capital letter on one side, a number on the other. Here's a chart to decode that I swiped from b&b.
